The course
Sherwood plays like a course from another era — mature, uncrowded, and shaped by the land rather than against it. The signature is its run of holes doglegging left, which regulars will tell you rewards a controlled draw and punishes anyone who only plays it straight.

The ambience is fantastic — food affordable, drinks fairly priced. It's become a real hub for live music, with both indoor and outdoor space and a pool table for anyone who wants a game.

Looks old, but the toilets are clean and the staff is friendly. We came for a church braai and the club was really accommodating — couples chilling with good music, never too loud.
